NATIONAL FRENCH HONOR SOCIETY
(LA SOCIÉTÉ HONORAIRE DE FRANÇAIS)

The student must have completed at least
1 ½ semesters of French in high school.
He or she must have an overall GPA of 85 or higher
(including all subjects) since the 9th grade.
The student must have made an “A” in French
the semester before induction.
He or she must have an overall
“A” average in French since the 9th grade.
The student should be of good character
as befitting an honor student.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE
HONOR SOCIETY

The student must have completed at least 1 ½ semesters
of French since the 9th grade.
He or she must have an overall GPA of 89 or higher
(all subjects) since the 9th grade.
He or she must have an overall 95 average
in French since the 9th grade.
He or she must have participated in foreign language activities
outside of the classroom. Examples are teaching French at elementary
schools, participating in the Foreign Language Fair at CSU, participating
in Foreign Language Contests or GHP, going to French Immersion Weekend, etc.
The student must not have been suspended out of school or placed in ISSP
while in high school or have any ethical violations such as cheating.
