Hardaway offers students with the opportunity to take healthcare classes and to be involved with HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America). Healthcare Science Technology Education programs are designed to provide students with competencies to facilitate a smooth transition from secondary education to entry-level careers, postsecondary education, and lifelong learning. Integrated academics are an essential element of Healthcare Science Technology Education, with emphasis on the application of math, science, reading, writing, and communication. Problem solving and decision making are vital components of the Health Science Technology Education curriculum.
