I was born in Dallas, Texas and. I graduated from the University of Houston in 1969 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a degree in Accounting. Upon graduation I was commissioned a Second Lieutenant, Infantry in the U. S. Army. I spent 23 years in the Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1992. I served in various counties throughout the world such as Vietnam, Germany, Korea, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. I graduated from the U. S. Army Command and General Staff College in 1984. Ten of my 23 years was spent in the U.S. Army Infantry School, Fort Benning. I served in many instructional and supervisory positions during my ten years in the Infantry School and I was the Director of Evaluation & Standardization for the entire school when I retired in 1992. I received a Masters of Education degree In Secondary Education, Mathematics from Columbus State University in 2000. I am married and I have two daughters. I began teaching at HHS in 1994.
