We have prepared this information to clearly outline the expectations for student behavior and to provide guidelines that will assist students in making positive decisions about their schooling. It is the duty and responsibility of the school staff to educate our students, helping them develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes to prepare them for the future. It is the responsibility of each student to attend classes and make every effort to reach their full potential in each of the courses in which they are enrolled. It is our belief that attendance is the key to academic success and our strict policy on attendance will continue to be implemented.

Please take time to carefully read through the following pages so that you will be informed about our policies and expectations and will be best able to make good decisions about your school life. If you have any questions or concerns about any of the information contained in the school policies, please feel free to contact us to discuss them. We can be reached at the school Monday to Friday between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.

Hardaway High has much to offer our students, both in quality classroom instruction and in the wide range of extra-curricular activities offered for the students by volunteer leaders and coaches. I encourage you to get involved in your school as participants and leaders in the various programs, while always maintaining a healthy balance between your academics and your extra-curricular involvement.
